Job summary

ERock is seeking a disciplined Operations Manager to lead site operations at a power generation facility. You will build, lead, and sustain a high-performing operations team delivering safe, reliable plant performance.

This site-based role ensures 24/7 coverage, coordinates with Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and reports to the Site Manager. A strong safety culture and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in power generation, industrial operations, or similar.
• Prior leadership in a 24/7 operations setting.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and documentation.
• Experience with control systems (DCS/HMI) and plant monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
• Establish 24/7 shift coverage, schedules, rotations, and on-call support.
• Drive consistent execution of operating procedures and system operations.
• Monitor plant performance, respond to alarms, and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering.
• Document operational activities, logs, and shift turnover reporting.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to PPE, LOTO, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to communicate equipment status and outages.
• Oversee contractor activities and ensure alignment with safety and operational expectations.
• Provide timely reporting to Plant Manager and leadership.
