Job summary

Sofidel America, a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, is seeking an Operating Services Administrator in Shelby, NC to support internal and external customers and serve as a positive first impression of the company.

The role reports to the Site Operations Manager and includes purchasing, site communications, safety promotion, and cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an administrative role within manufacturing.
• Experience in purchasing and/or production planning.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site-wide purchase requisitions and annual agreements.
• Prepare purchase orders, track purchases and inquiries about orders.
• Ensure accurate lead times and meet purchaser specifications.
• Collaborate with Accounting to resolve invoicing issues.
• Promote safety through walks and engage with team members on safe behaviors.
• Assist in site communications, newsletters and information for all teams.
• Prepare site for visitors: food, conference room prep, PPE collection.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
