Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Manager to lead the team and keep daily operations running smoothly in Bloomington, IL. You will support technicians, coordinate with dispatch, and ensure customers have a positive experience from start to finish.

The role requires 3+ years of management experience, a working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC, and a valid driver’s license. You will also collaborate with the general manager on budgets and supervise staff to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.
• 3+ years management experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC
• Valid driver's license
• Strong supervisory experience, communication and computer skills
• Ability to work after regular business hours as needed

Responsabilités

• Manages and develops the staff, including hiring, terminating, scheduling, and directing work assignments to ensure effective productions
• Coordinated activities of maintenance, service, and indoor air quality departments to improve operational efficiency
• Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborates with the general manager on budgeting and financial planning
• Generates reports and monitors inventory, tools, and vehicles; reviews these with management
• Instructs crews on proper use of materials and workmanship; oversees payroll accuracy
• Coordinates dispatch to ensure appropriate technicians for service types
• Assesses training needs and evaluates staff for development
• Ensures vehicle stock and warranty parts are managed and replenished
