Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a operations supervisor to provide management support at a company-owned IBS location. The role focuses on developing staff, maintaining high performance standards, and leveraging training resources to recognize achievements.

You will oversee inventory protection, asset management, and a clean, safe site environment. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with experience in automotive aftermarket operations preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification within 12 months preferred.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in automotive aftermarket or parts operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist site manager in daily operations and staff development.
• Ensure inventory protection and accurate stock put-away in the warehouse.
• Foster strong customer relationships and address service questions promptly.
• Coordinate vendor sourcing and pricing discussions for non-company items.
• Maintain safety training and enforce hazmat procedures and shop safety.
