Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is seeking an IBS Site Manager to provide management support across a company-owned IBS location or locations. The role emphasizes developing staff, maintaining inventory integrity, and fostering strong customer relations.

You will ensure contract compliance, drive value through collaboration with both company and customer teams, and oversee processes to keep operations efficient and safe.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical schooling and/or college degree a plus.
• ASE certification within twelve months.
• Ability to manage two or more people, prioritize and delegate.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership in automotive after-market environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and parts research tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide management assistance in IBS locations and develop personnel.
• Ensure inventory protection, asset management and cleanliness of site.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and develop vendor relationships.
• Respond to customer questions and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Collaborate with site and customer management to maximize IBS value.
• Oversee non-company line codes usage and vendor pricing negotiations.
• Guarantee adherence to service levels and minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure safe work environment and hazmat training compliance.
