Job summary

GPC's Automotive IBS location in Kansas City seeks an experienced site supervisor to lead operations, inventory control, and customer service. You will manage two or more staff, drive efficiency, maintain safety, and coordinate with the customer and management to meet service levels.

Responsibilities include sourcing parts from approved vendors, using POS and cataloging tools, and ensuring timely stock receipt and put-away, while fostering a high-performance team culture and strong operational

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification within 12 months.
• Ability to manage two or more people and delegate.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented and analytical.
• Experience in automotive after-market preferred.
• Knowledge of store services and customer focus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Able to operate a POS system and cataloging tools.
• Proficient in MS Office and fleet management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations with a focus on customer satisfaction and ROI.
• Source parts from approved IBS vendors and manage vendor relations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and timely stock receipts.
• Ensure service level goals are met and shrinkage is minimized.
• Foster open communication with customer and management teams.
• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations with Site Manager.
• Negotiate with non-company vendors on pricing and return policies.
• Ensure hazmat training and safety compliance.
• Operate POS system and keep catalog up to date.
