Qualifikationen

• Management experience
• Experience in material management with configuring inventory levels
• Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with suppliers and customers
• Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
• Knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and software
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems preferred
• Purchasing experience preferred
• Understanding of forecast and usage
• Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications is a plus
• Knowledge of automated vending is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Attention to detail and reporting issues
• Team-oriented mindset
• Data entry, filing and record keeping

Aufgaben

• Communicate with site buyers daily and warehouse personnel to manage inventory
• Check and correct inventory discrepancies and use the system to locate stock
• Place PO against requisitions and expedite orders
• Evaluate stock levels, usage, and replenishment records
• Notify supervisor of spikes in usage and any unusual findings
• Report discrepancies between POs, packing lists and invoices
• Continually seek better products, compare pricing, and identify trends
• Support process improvements and vendor communication
