Job summary

Applied Medical in California seeks a manufacturing support technician to prepare tool kits for machinists, order tooling, and manage inventory using the company system. You will work with vendors, ensure compliance with MI, QSR, ISO and SOPs, and help meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires English proficiency and strong interpersonal skills; familiarity with SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude is required for handling setup sheets and tooling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand/sit/walk frequently in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Reading, writing and speaking English is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with vendors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tool kits for machinists using set up sheets.
• Order tooling for the department as needed.
• Interact with vendors and obtain quotes.
• Organize and maintain inventory via the inventory control system.
• Follow machining policies, QSR, ISO, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Meet schedules and maintain quality standards.
