Job summary

The Zemba Companies is seeking a General Foreman to lead the field team, supervise the Property Maintenance Technician and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

This role coordinates daily operations, plans resources, enforces safety and building codes, and communicates progress to leadership. Travel to job sites and on-call emergency support are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5–10 years general contracting experience in the construction industry.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the Property Maintenance Technician and subcontractors.
• Coordinates daily work schedules, resources, materials, and equipment for efficiency.
• Enforces safety policies, regulations, and building codes on site.
• Plans and coordinates facility maintenance tasks with internal and external teams.
• Reports progress, budget, and issues to leadership as the primary liaison.
