Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Laborer Foreman to supervise the work crews on a new construction site. You will oversee a crew up to 5-15 craft workers and ensure tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to use hand and power tools, and strong teamwork. On-site work across varied weather conditions with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Good aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good reading comprehension.
• Ability to work with others – team player.
• Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
• Commitment to safety rules and regulations.
• Preferred: Zachry ROF’ed employee or former Zachry employee.
• Preferred: basic mechanical knowledge and experience on an industrial construction site.

Responsibilities

• Meet physical demands and use of tools as needed.
• Move equipment and perform manual tasks under supervision.
• Operate fire safety procedures and scaffolding tasks as required.
• Follow directions from supervisor.
