Local Columbus multi-family owner/operator is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Property Manager for a 140 + unit residential property in Grove City. Are you ready to directly oversee and manage a well-located multifamily property? Property Manager will work with a great team, work closely with ownership, and have the ability to directly affect the success of the property!

Responsibilities include:

Managing all aspects of the property, including but not limited to the following:

• Manage leasing, answer rental inquiries, and show apartments to prospective
• Review and process rental applications and prepare leases
• Manage delinquency and monitor rent collection, collect rents, filing evictions
• Maintain positive relationships with current and future via answering phone calls, emails, and stop-ins at the rental office
• Coordinate and oversee property vendors and contractors
• Maintain the upkeep and appearance of the property
• Manage and coordinate unit turnovers
• Optimize the use of the Property Management software in operating the property and accurately maintain all records in property management software
• Monitor and track competition and make marketing recommendations based off of those findings
• Maintain property marketing campaigns
• Work to ensure tenant requests or complaints are responded to in a timely manner
• Oversee and work with property maintenance staff
• Keep, record, and organize records and files based on company requirements
• Help to prepare and monitor operating budgets
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
• Accomplish financial goals
• Review and approve payables
• Type correspondence and update spreadsheets in Excel
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Work well with a team and ability to motivate and lead others
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential leasing/on site at an apartment property
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a site manager for a 75 + unit property
• Exceptional customer service and sales skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Customer service-oriented
• Have excellent verbal and written communication and provide clear and concise communication to team members
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong math and writing skills
• Must be able to work independently and multi-task
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
