Job summary

Monarch in New Bern, NC is seeking an onsite Site Manager to oversee day-to-day activities at the assigned location. You will manage staff schedules and support services to enhance meaningful day activities and help individuals achieve their personal goals.

The role requires experience with I/DD populations, a valid driver’s license, and a track record in supervision. This is a full-time position with potential travel and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid USA Driver's License required.
• 2 years experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• 3+ years experience with the I/DD population.
• 1 year of management experience not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Identify methods to provide services using existing community resources and ensure staff use person-centered and positive approaches.
• Collaborate with professionals to implement and document program plans in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate support services including referrals, scheduling and attending appointments.
• Assist with administrative duties such as reviewing time sheets and payroll, and other tasks as assigned.
• Manage program finances, including service revenue, expenses and related reporting.
• Provide leadership and supervision to staff; conduct evaluations, coaching and discipline as needed.
• Develop effective communication systems for staff and participants; conduct regular staff meetings.
• Ensure staff schedules and community activities align with individual program plans.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and safety practices; lead drills and safety oversight.
• Offer orientation, mentoring and training to new and current staff; ensure compliance with training expectations.
• Attend meetings and trainings; maintain agency and regulatory certifications.
• Travel may be required.
