Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking an Operations Excellence Manager to shape and advance regional manufacturing performance. You will lead strategic improvement programs across the site network, drive safety, quality, reliability, and cost initiatives, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Technology, and Supply Chain teams.

You will manage a portfolio of Lean Six Sigma projects, coach Black Belt and Green Belt teams, and implement standardized operating systems to sustain world-class

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/operations/continuous improvement in chemical/process manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional improvement or transformation programs.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with proven Black Belt leadership and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Experience managing project portfolios across multiple sites with measurable results.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive sustainable change.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the manufacturing network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional Operations Excellence roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with site leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact productivity initiatives.
• Manage a multi-year portfolio of safety, quality, reliability, capacity, sustainability, and cost projects.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects and mentor Green Belt teams.
• Implement and sustain Manufacturing Operating Systems across sites.
• Facilitate value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and improvement workshops.
• Establish metrics, reporting, and governance for project execution and impact.
• Foster cross-site knowledge sharing and replication of best practices.
• Coach leaders in continuous improvement tools and change management.
