Job summary

Community Teamwork Inc in Lowell, MA seeks a Senior Group Leader for our School Age Program to lead before/after school care, coordinate daily curriculum, and coach youth to develop life skills. You will ensure safety, maintain attendance, and act as a mentor to students while promoting a positive, inclusive environment.

The role includes acting as site lead during Site Manager absence, collaborating with families, and upholding CTI values of equity, integrity, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a desire to work with youth.
• Bachelor's or associate degree and 3 months experience with school age children; or High school diploma/equivalent with 6 months experience; or nine months experience with school age children including 3 months supervised experience.
• Evidence of physical exam within 1 year of hire date
• Evidence of immunity to MMR
• Participate in a minimum 12 hours of EEC approved training
• Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid as required by EEC
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Represent as the Lead in charge when a Site Manager is not on site, maintaining site operations.
• Assist in implementing program policies and procedures including accurate attendance and records.
• Provide supervision and safety of children; maintain daily group list and attendance.
• Develop relationships with youth to support learning and growth.
• Assist with daily activities and follow curriculum plans.
