Job summary

Tobin Scientific is hiring a Site Lead for the Beverly, MA consolidation center. You will provide daily leadership, manage warehouse operations, and ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy across receiving, inventory, staging, and shipments.

This hands-on role requires guiding a diverse team, enforcing SOPs, and driving KPIs while staying on the floor during peak periods. You will lead with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence, coordinating with management to resolve issues and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in operations management within logistics, distribution, or warehousing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with ability to motivate and coach diverse teams.
• Experience managing day-to-day warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Proficiency with WMS, ERP, inventory management, and shipment tracking software.
• Ability to learn and use multiple software platforms for inventory, shipments, orders, and receiving.
• Experience in inventory control, shipment tracking, order fulfillment, receiving, and staging.
• Ability to develop, implement, and maintain SOPs; train teams on SOPs and ensure compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Hands-on leadership with willingness to work on the warehouse floor when needed.
• Hazmat handling or experience with hazardous materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to the warehouse team and oversee site operations.
• Maintain safe, efficient flow of receiving, inventory, staging, and shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and SOPs; report KPIs.
• Step onto the warehouse floor to support operations during ramp-up or high-volume periods.
• Develop, implement, and enforce clear SOPs; train staff on procedures.
• Monitor KPIs and coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with management and vendors to resolve escalations and issues.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
