Job summary

Tobin Scientific is seeking a Site Lead to oversee the consolidation center warehouse in Massachusetts. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating labor, safety, and daily operations, with direct floor support during ramp‑ups and high‑volume periods.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in operations management within logistics/warehousing, strong leadership, and proficiency with WMS/ERP systems, equipment, and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in operations management, preferably logistics or warehousing.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Solid knowledge of WMS, ERP, inventory management, shipment tracking software.
• Ability to learn multiple software platforms for inventory, shipments, orders.
• Experience creating, implementing, and maintaining SOPs.
• Train teams on SOPs and ensure compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Hands-on leader who can work on the warehouse floor when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to the warehouse team.
• Oversee consolidation center operations for safe, efficient flow.
• Maintain visibility and control over receiving, inventory, staging, and shipments.
• Lead SOP development, training, and adherence.
• Utilize WMS/ERP to monitor inventory, shipments, and transactions.
• Ensure safety and compliance, including hazmat handling where applicable.
• Coach and develop staff, manage schedules, and allocate resources.
• Report KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
