Job summary

Datwyler is seeking an IT Analyst to serve as the primary on-site liaison between the manufacturing facility and global IT support. You will ensure stable IT operations at the local plant while coordinating with regional and global teams to support infrastructure and manufacturing systems.

The role requires strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer-service skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and may involve after-hours support and some travel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years of IT support experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience with MES, SAP, SCADA or other manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the local IT contact at the manufacturing site.
• Coordinate with global IT teams to resolve incidents and requests.
• Provide hands-on desktop, printer, mobile device, and room tech support.
• Support plant floor tech including workstations, scanners, label printers.
• Ensure incident escalation and follow-up to protect production.
