Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, and enforce safety protocols in the field. You will troubleshoot on-site issues and mentor employees and contractors to ensure productive performance.

You will supervise field activities, manage training, and maintain records while promoting excellent customer relations and safe work practices across job sites. CDL is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Driver's License Required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving/interpreting orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, outages, and job scope with property owners; refers controversial cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through safe, compliant completion of work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports; tracks crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of resources.
• Furnishes reports on orders, incidents, and crew performance.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when needed.
• Inspects and arranges repairs to tools, trucks, and equipment.
