Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Site Finance Team Leader/Controller for the Hauppauge Business Unit. You will lead the finance team (4 directs), partner with the BU Manager, and provide strategic financial leadership, planning, reporting and risk management to drive profitability.

Responsibilities include general ledger, budgeting, cost accounting, OPEX/Lean improvements, SOX compliance, internal controls, and cross-functional partnering with operations and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or similar discipline with 8+ years of progressive experience.
• MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing finance and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with ASC606 revenue recognition for government/defense work.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Hauppauge finance team and partner with BU leadership.
• Oversee general ledger, budgeting, FP&A, and reporting.
• Drive cost accounting, inventory management, and overhead absorption.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to improve profitability.
