Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of manufacturing engineers across a site. You will oversee design implementation, process improvement, and compliance with safety and quality standards while developing operating plans and capital budgets.

You will mentor staff, partner with design, quality, and supply chain, and drive cross-functional projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and continuous improvement in cost,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related engineering field with 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Advanced technical knowledge and ability to support new product development and/or complex problems.
• Applies strong project management skills to daily tasks to enhance efficiencies within team and/or plant activities.
• Supports the development of strategic plans in coordination with sr. managers to manage and mitigate future challenges for the team and/or plant.
• Effective in ensuring team/plant achieves consistent execution of manufacturing processes while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines.
• Strong ability to analyze process flows for enhancements to quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
• Ability to determine engineering schedules and track completion against target dates.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate and execute a desired vision to other employees.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
