Job summary

Abbott is a global healthcare leader with a Woodridge, MN site in the Structural Heart division. The Site Controller will lead financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis for the Woodridge site and supervise Plymouth and Puerto Rico sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Accounting/Finance, 10+ years FP&A leadership, and strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP. CPA/MBA/CMA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Accounting/Finance major.
• 10+ years FP&A leadership experience managing a large manufacturing site or group of sites.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint; SAP.
• Full knowledge of integrated accounting cycle and information systems; manufacturing finance experience including absorption costing.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide business support, financial counsel, and direction to site leadership across Ops/Manufacturing/Engineering/QA/Supply Chain and R&D.
• Lead development, consolidations, analysis, and publication of Latest Best Estimates Forecast (LBE).
• Own short- and long-term forecast including standard cost projections, P&L and balance sheet for the site.
• Direct the SH Ops Finance department; supervise staff and ensure HR policies are followed; coach and develop talent.
• Direct and manage cost accounting functions including budgets, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly financial statements, quarterly schedules, and year-end packages; ensure timely closings and reporting.
• Ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance; maintain accounting records and policies.
