Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Site Controller for the Woodridge, MN facility. You will provide financial leadership across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, driving forecasts, cost accounting, and reporting for the site and adjacent units in Plymouth, MN and Caguas, Puerto Rico.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 10+ years in FP&A with manufacturing experience, plus strong SAP and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with Accounting/Finance major.
• Minimum 10 years of FP&A experience managing a large manufacturing site or group of sites.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
• Full knowledge of the integrated accounting cycle and manufacturing cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial planning, reporting, analysis and consolidation for site; establish financial controls for Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Plant Controllership.
• Lead monthly close, forecasting, and performance reporting including overhead, absorption and variances.
• Direct the SH department staff; develop goals, coach and evaluate performance; align with site leadership on strategy.
• Direct cost accounting activities including budgeting, variance analysis, inventory reconciliations and cost targets.
• Coordinate timely monthly and year-end financial statements and internal controls per SOX and policy requirements.
