Job summary

Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Field Superintendent to oversee daily operations at job sites, managing crews, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This role reports to the Project Manager and collaborates with operators, teamsters, QC staff, and logistics teams to execute plans and meet safety and quality standards on soil stabilization projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; construction coursework preferred.
• 5+ years of field supervisory experience in construction or soil stabilization.
• Knowledge of soil stabilization equipment and field processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Understanding of OSHA and construction safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews, operators, teamsters, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Manage daily work schedules, equipment assignments, and material usage.
• Monitor work quality and compliance with engineering specifications, project plans, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide on-site guidance to crews.
• Implement the project plan developed by the Project Manager and coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries.
• Communicate daily progress to the Project Manager and support QA/QC efforts.
