Job summary

Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee daily field operations at soil stabilization projects in Louisville, KY. You will manage crews, equipment, and materials to keep work on schedule and within budget, while ensuring compliance with engineering specs.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will enforce safety policies, coordinate with logistics, QC staff, and subcontractors, and mentor crew members on best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of field supervisory experience in construction or soil projects.
• Knowledge of soil stabilization equipment and field processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Understanding of OSHA and construction safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews, operators, teamsters, and subcontractors on soil stabilization projects.
• Manage daily work schedules, equipment assignments, and material usage.
• Monitor work quality and compliance with engineering specs and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, logistics, QC staff, and field labs.
