Job summary

Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day field operations on soil stabilization projects.

You will supervise crews, coordinate equipment and materials, and ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work with operators, QC staff, and logistics teams while enforcing OSHA standards and quality measures across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; construction or civil engineering coursework preferred.
• 5+ years of field supervisory experience in construction, civil engineering, or soil stabilization projects.
• Knowledge of soil stabilization equipment, materials, and field processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to read project plans and specs; OSHA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews, operators, teamsters, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Manage daily work schedules, equipment assignments, and material usage.
• Monitor work quality and compliance with engineering specs, plans, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide on‑site guidance to crews.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to implement the project plan and logistics.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting, safety compliance, and QA/QC support.
• Mentor and develop crew members on safety and stabilization best practices.
