Job summary

DHL is seeking a Facilities Manager for our Westerville, Ohio operation to oversee maintenance, building systems, and service providers. You will lead a small team, manage contracts with KPIs, and collaborate with Finance on budgets to ensure reliable, compliant facilities operations.

The role requires strong experience in FM, vendor coordination, and cost control, with after-hours responsiveness and a focus on asset performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and building systems.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and service providers.
• Knowledge of budget development and AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal functionality of building systems and high-quality technical services.
• Oversee vendors and maintenance personnel, manage contracts through KPIs and SLAs, collaborate with Finance on budget development.
• Identify technical savings initiatives and coordinate inspections for required services; report on operations and projects.
• Administer environmental programs with EH&S Manager; ensure adherence to risk management policies for vendors/contractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external customers and facilities staff.
• Respond to after-hours facilities-related emergencies and determine corrective actions.
• Assist in planning and overseeing maintenance of properties, facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness.
