Job summary

DHL is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Facilities Manager to lead technical and infrastructural FM services across a global portfolio. You will direct Engineering, Operations, Workplace Services, and Occupancy Optimization in line with business strategy and policies.

We require 5+ years in facilities management, with space planning, project management and budgeting experience, preferably in warehouse or corporate offices. This role offers an international environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
• Desirable Facilities Management Certification.
• More than 5 years of related experience, preferably in warehouse, business office or real estate environments, with construction project management, space planning and facilities management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee maintenance of properties, facilities, equipment and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness.
• Ensure optimal functionality of building systems such as HVAC, fire safety equipment, and elevators.
• Oversee vendors and maintenance staff; manage contractors through KPIs and SLAs.
• Prepare and conduct performance dialogues with Facility Management Teams and key stakeholders along the FM value chain.
• Collaborate with Finance to develop and administer operating and capital budgets for facilities.
• Ensure FM team provides efficient, high-quality service meeting business and external needs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and data integrity for the Real Estate portfolio.
• Manage workspace design and utilization to meet staff and business requirements.
• Identify and implement savings initiatives.
• Complete or coordinate routine inspections and coordinate projects that enhance property value.
• Administer environmental programs in partnership with EH&S Manager; ensure compliance with risk management and insurance requirements.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and facilities staff.
• Operate the AP invoice payment system to validate and approve costs for facilities.
• Provide regular reports on facility operations, expenses and projects to management.
• Respond to after-hours facilities related emergencies and determine actions to resolve issues.
