Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a contractor.
• Proven experience in supervising civil construction works (roads, bulk earthworks, pipelines).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and quality control.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and ensure they are followed.
• Plan and schedule construction activities in coordination with the project manager.
• Monitor progress and quality of work, identifying and resolving issues.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain accurate site records, including measurements, quantities and variations.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.
