Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Site Foreman to lead onsite crews in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will supervise daily activities, ensure work follows plans and safety standards, and coordinate with Site/Project Managers to meet project goals.

The role demands strong leadership, practical construction knowledge, and the ability to motivate a team to deliver high-quality results on diverse projects. This hands-on position offers overtime on multiple projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience on construction sites.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of construction crews on site.
• Ensure work aligns with plans, specs and quality standards.
• Manage allocation of labor, materials and equipment.
• Maintain a safe on-site environment and enforce safety rules.
• Coordinate with Site/Project Manager on progress and resource needs.
• Operate or oversee construction machinery and tools as required.
• Maintain daily logs of work performed and incidents.
• Keep site clean, organized, and secure.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors and team members.
• Assist in troubleshooting on-site construction challenges.
