About the Role

Our client, a dynamic construction and development company, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Civil Project Manager to lead key infrastructure projects in and around Welkom, Free State . This role is crucial for overseeing the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and mitigating risks. The position involves a hybrid work model, requiring presence on-site for critical project phases and team collaborations, complemented by remote work for planning and administrative tasks. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record in civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of civil infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and budget management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, contract administration, and site management practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing site presence with remote administrative tasks.
• Experience with local building codes and regulations in the Free State region is advantageous.
• Professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., ECSA, SACPCMP) is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites within the Welkom region.
