Job summary

GALLO South Carolina is seeking an Site Environmental, Health Safety Representative to support a safe, compliant workplace. You will coordinate EHS programs, maintain records, deliver training, and translate observations into actionable improvements.

You will partner with EHS and cross-functional teams on inspections, investigations, and regulatory activities, touching hazardous energy control, confinement, fall protection, and Process Safety Management as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of EHS experience.
• Foundational knowledge of EHS concepts and ability to source, read, understand, and apply EHS regulations and site requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access, with ability to organize, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Ability to develop clear written communications, procedures, work instructions, reports, and training materials.
• Ability to communicate and present information effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
• Ability to define routine problems, collect and evaluate information, identify discrepancies, and elevate issues.
• Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Travel up to 5% of the time for onboarding, training, meetings, and events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EHS programs, maintain critical records, deliver training, and turn observations into improvements.
• Partner with EHS and cross-functional teams on inspections, assessments, audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
• Touch programs such as hazardous energy control, confined space, fall protection, ergonomics, emergency preparedness, and Process Safety Management as applicable.
• Maintain OSHA records, Safety Data Sheets, hazardous material inventories, compliance plans, and training materials.
• Compile and analyze EHS data, identify trends, and communicate findings across the organization.
