Job summary

Central Business Solutions is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Site Leader to drive strategic and operational EH&S programs at the Sumter, SC site. The role ensures compliance with all local, state, federal, and corporate requirements and acts as the SME for EH&S with executive stakeholders.

You will lead the EH&S organization, implement multi-year improvement plans, and integrate EH&S into plant management systems while promoting injury prevention and environmental stewardship

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Hygiene)
• 8–10 years EH&S experience in regulated manufacturing
• Experience leading EH&S teams and influencing senior site leadership

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership and governance for all site EH&S programs.
• Serve as the site's primary EH&S authority and regulatory representative.
• Lead, manage, and develop the site EH&S organization.
• Establish and execute site EH&S strategy and multi-year improvement plans.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs and regulatory submissions.
• Lead investigations of EH&S incidents and ensure corrective actions.
