Job summary

Keel in Ladson, SC is seeking an EHS professional to support the EHS Manager in planning, implementing, and maintaining occupational health, safety, and environmental programs. The role focuses on maintaining regulatory compliance, conducting inspections, and delivering training to employees.

You will investigate incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and track corrective actions while coordinating with supervisors and contractors to address unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• Assists in planning, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace EHS inspections and track corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and execute root-cause analyses.
• Maintain OSHA records, EHS metrics, and regulatory documentation.
• Develop and maintain JSAs/JHAs and safe-work procedures.
• Deliver EHS training and maintain records.
• Support environmental compliance including stormwater inspections.
• Assist emergency preparedness and PPE programs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and contractors to address unsafe conditions.
• Provide guidance on applicable EHS regulations and reporting.
