Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Lansing, MI seeks a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead the Global WHS Program, blending hands-on safety with strategic leadership to protect associates and drive operational excellence.

You will conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, lead site audits, and manage first aid and emergency readiness, partnering with Operations to embed safety into daily work and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years in people and performance management (or 2+ years Amazon Safety experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership and drive continuous improvement across WHS.
• Conduct risk assessments, analyze incident trends, and implement preventive safety measures.
• Audits and compliance with WHS policies; manage first aid and emergency response capabilities.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily operations and training.
