Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Site EHS Manager for a major mission-critical project in Newark, OH. You will oversee daily EHS activities and lead safety integration with construction teams.

This role requires strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, ability to operate independently, and the coordination of audits, training, and incident investigations to protect workers and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety or EHS on large projects.
• Strong field presence and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily environmental, health, and safety activities on site.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions with teams.
• Review site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Verify training documentation for employees and subcontractors.
• Lead preconstruction safety-planning meetings and incidents investigations.
• Partner with site leadership and trade partners to improve safety performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and company standards.
