Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a Millersport, OH project. You will implement and manage health and safety practices in line with OSHA regulations and client standards.

The role requires self-direction, strong communication, and the ability to work independently on a fast-paced construction site, with responsibilities including inspections, trainings, incident investigations, and coordination with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety management.
• OSHA 510 certification is mandatory; CHST preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project to ensure compliance with safety regulations and contract requirements.
• Support the project team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site.
• Maintain safety logs and OSHA recordkeeping (injury/illness logs).
• Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.
• Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with facility management and subcontractors to align with EHS standards.
