Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an EHS Specialist to support the implementation and execution of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Well-Being programs at a designated data center site in Ohio. You will serve as the primary onsite EHS resource for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Work with site operations, facility management, and the broader EHS team to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, risk assessments, incident investigations, and training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• 1–3 years EHS experience in data center or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk assessment processes.
• Familiarity with contractor safety management and permit-to-work systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Ericsson EHS policies at the data center site.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety observations, and audits.
• Support risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and permit reviews.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and site procedures.
• Assist incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor safety activities and site orientation.
• Track EHS metrics and reporting, escalating significant risks.
• Deliver site-specific EHS training and safety communications.
• Coordinate environmental and waste management activities.
