Job summary

Manhattan Construction is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to oversee safety, health, and environmental policies on construction projects and to lead a team of safety professionals to identify and control hazardous conditions.

You will drive incident investigations, safety training, and mentor Safety Managers while coordinating with regional teams to uphold OSHA standards and our safety culture across projects.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree or relevant safety experience.
• Board of Certified Safety Professional CHST, ASP, CSP or equivalent.
• 15 years of industry experience.
• First aid & CPR certified instructor.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigations and reporting.
• Develop and conduct staff and craft safety orientation training.
• Mentor and develop assigned Safety Managers.
• Maintain safety records for multiple projects.
• Advise safety directors on compliance and preventive actions.
• Lead coordination with regional safety personnel on updates.
