Job summary

Nation’s Finest seeks a Site Director in Carson City, NV, to lead a multifaceted veterans services site. You will oversee programs, budgets, staff, and compliance while building relationships with community partners and funders.

You will develop proposals to secure funding, report to leadership, and guide operations to meet outcome goals. A master’s degree is preferred, with a minimum of five years in organizational management and grant work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in organizational management, budget development, and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of laws and ethics in behavioral health services.
• Knowledge of government and non-profit employment, training, and housing programs.
• Knowledge of VA-funded grant and contract programs for at-risk Veterans desirable.
• Advanced computer skills and familiarity with O365.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to write grant proposals and read state/federal regulations.
• Ability to manage data and produce statistical reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site services, design and implement special projects, and manage community partnerships.
• Develop proposals and seek funding; research and identify new funding sources.
• Ensure compliance with grant/contract requirements and accurate reporting.
• Assist leadership in site budget development; monitor expenditures and balance programs.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and develop staff; lead regular meetings and training.
• Collect and evaluate client statistics; prepare narrative reports for funders.
• Educate officials and stakeholders on Nation’s Finest programs and veteran needs.
• Represent the site in media engagements and local outreach in coordination with Communications.
• Collaborate with state/local agencies on mental health, housing, and related services.
• Support outreach to engage veterans and meet outcome goals; travel as needed.
