Job summary

Nations Finest in Sacramento is seeking an Assistant Site Director to act as deputy to the Site Director, overseeing housing case management and program operations for veterans. You will manage budgets, supervise staff, ensure compliance and data integrity in HMIS, and coordinate services with community partners to secure permanent housing.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in social services with a focus on veterans and homeless populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field; AA acceptable.
• Two years’ case management and two years’ supervisory experience required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Director and staff in assessing client needs and planning services.
• Track expenditures and maintain site budgets; ensure cost control.
• Handle personnel actions, payroll, interviews, and HR coordination.
• Provide staff training and maintain certifications for grants.
• Oversee impound accounts, funds disbursement, and monthly reconciliations.
• Ensure data entry into HMIS and client databases; compile required reports.
• Supervise program support staff and coordinate logistics for events.
• Monitor housing referrals, transportation expenditures, and vendor relations.
• Coordinate with external agencies to secure housing and veteran services.
