Job summary

Nation’s Finest seeks a Site Director to lead a Nation’s Finest location in Nevada, overseeing staff, contracts, budgeting, and program activities. You’ll coordinate with Residential Services or Supportive Services Directors to ensure quality services for veterans and their families.

The role requires master’s degree preferred (or bachelor’s with 10 years’ related experience), strong leadership, grant management, and ability to develop proposals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s required or 10 years in relatable field with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in organizational management, budget development, and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of behavioral health laws and ethics; government/non-profit programs.
• Ability to write proposals for grants and manage data/reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site services, projects, and partner relationships.
• Develop and submit funding proposals; identify new funding sources.
• Ensure compliance with grant/contract requirements and accurate reporting.
• Assist in site budget development and monitor expenditures for all programs.
• Hire, supervise, and develop staff; lead regular meetings and trainings.
• Collect and evaluate client statistics; prepare funder reports.
• Educate officials on Nation’s Finest programs and veteran needs; advocate for clients.
• Engage in local government, media, and community outreach in collaboration with partners.
• Participate in local Continuum of Care and other committees; uphold governance.
• Maintain outreach programs to engage veterans and achieve outcome goals.
• Act as site spokesperson for media engagements with Communications Dept.
• Collaborate with state/local health and housing agencies.
• Travel as needed; perform additional duties as assigned.
