Job summary

Nation’s Finest in Sacramento, CA seeks an Assistant Site Director to serve as the deputy to the Site Director, overseeing housing services for very low‑income veterans and managing HMIS data across programs.

You will supervise program support staff, coordinate budgets, training, and agency reporting, and build partnerships with local housing and service organizations to advance permanent housing for veterans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field is highly desirable; AA required.
• Two years’ case management or related professional experience required.
• Two years’ management or supervisorial experience required.
• Minimum of three years’ advanced office responsibility with independence.
• Strong customer service, communication, and management skills.
• Veteran status desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Director with service planning and policy development.
• Track expenditures and maintain program budgets.
• Oversee HR tasks: payroll time reporting and interviews; coordinate with HR.
• Maintain staff training records and certifications for grants.
• Manage HMIS and client databases; ensure data accuracy.
• Supervise program support staff and volunteers; ensure coverage.
• Coordinate housing services and outreach for veterans; enhance services.
• Engage with partners to advance permanent housing efforts.
