Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Design Staff Engineer to join our Westminster, CO team. You will work on civil infrastructure for utility-scale solar projects, including access roads and work pads, and assist with permitting and field tasks.

You will contribute to integrated design team efforts, prepare civil design plan sets, and support schedules and budgets while communicating clearly with teammates and clients.

Qualifications

• ABET/EAC-accredited engineering program required.
• 0+ years of experience in civil/site design.
• Engineer-in-Training or FE eligibility within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as design team member supporting permitting, design, and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Apply engineering judgment and standard procedures to task execution.
• Develop foundational engineering skills through mentored experiences.
• Coordinate with design team to meet milestones, contract requirements, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with team to uphold company standards and consistency.
