Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Superintendent to manage daily job-site operations, coordinating scheduling, production, and procurement of materials and equipment. You will supervise direct labor and oversee contracted work to ensure project success.

You will work with the Project Manager to develop schedules, use look-ahead planning, and maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years' experience on ground-up commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily job-site operations including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment.
• Directs all direct labor on the project and supervises contracted work to ensure successful project completion.
• Interacts with project management to develop schedules and monitor progress using look-ahead planning.
