Langan is seeking an Intern – Site/Civil Engineer to join our Pittsburgh team. This role supports site feasibility studies, field work, technical report preparation, and design documentation, offering hands-on learning with industry leadership on land development projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering (preferred GPA 3.0+).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents: reports, plans, specs, schedules, cost estimates.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, and tests to assess soil, terrain, hydrology, topo and geology for planning/design.
• Support zoning, permit assessments, sidewalk estimations, and feasibility analysis.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
