Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a seasoned Materials & SIOP Leader to drive the materials transformation across NA manufacturing sites, improving inventory turns, on-time delivery, and cash flow targets.

Located on-site at multiple North American sites with a preferred location in Fremont, OH, this role requires up to 50–75% travel and leadership of lean, pull-based material flow, PFEP, and end-to-end supply chain optimization across the SBU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or business. MBA desirable.
• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in materials management, operations, supply chain planning, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
• Operational continuous improvement (i.e. six sigma and/or lean manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Lead the maturity and deployment of the SBU Materials / SIOP Management System across sites.
• Partner with plant materials, operations, and supply chain teams to design inventory reduction strategies.
• Architect and implement lean material flow solutions (pull systems, kanban, point-of-use inventory).
• Support Value Stream Analysis and Operational Excellence transformation with end-to-end material flow optimization.
• Lead materials management to identify and remove flow constraints and improve TAKT, on-time shipping, and inventory turns.
