Job summary

Trane Technologies in United States is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead material planning and supplier integration across NPD, VAVE, and productivity initiatives. You will drive changes from design to launch, set up new items on the factory floor, and coordinate with BOS for effective material flow.

You will optimize inventory levels, maintain PFEP accuracy, and coach teams on visual management and kanban practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 10+ years planner/buyer experience.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• Knowledgeable of supplier processes and capabilities.
• Experienced with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Procure production/inventory/MRO items in a timely, cost-conscious manner.
• Receive requisitions and determine quantity, specs, and delivery.
• Develop and onboard new suppliers for material planning.
• Maintain PFEP item master and ABC classifications.
• Coordinate with QA to resolve supplier quality issues.
• Identify total cost and cash flow opportunities with suppliers.
• Support Kanban and supplier replenishment decisions.
• Drive change management projects and implement BOS standards.
