Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a materials management professional to drive lean transformation and optimize inventory across distribution networks. You will lead measurements, analyses, and implementation of tools to improve customer fill-rates, cycle time, and overall efficiency while coordinating with the Materials Management group.

The role requires 3–5 years in operations or inventory management, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Oracle, and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in operations, inventory management, or related field.
• Leadership ability and project management skills required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and knowledge of Excel/Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Improve measurements, analysis, development, and implementation of tools to improve Customer Fill-Rates and Inventory Optimization.
• Support and lead Rapid Improvement Events that focus on Materials Management processes.
• Maintain Materials Management software and other system integrations.
• Lead Material management forecast and planning system enhancement projects.
• Utilize six-sigma and lean tools to identify service, cash, and/or cost savings opportunities.
• Assist the Materials team with new product introduction and project completion.
• Develop, implement, and drive adherence to standard work.
• Report key DC and DSO inventory metrics and drive improvement.
• Educate Materials personnel on inventory management aspects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
