Job summary

Carr, Riggs & Ingram (CRI) seeks a Summer 2027 Single Audit Intern to support nonprofit audit teams, gaining hands-on experience in financial integrity and assurance services for mission-focused clients.

You will work with experienced staff, pursue CPA credentialing, and develop auditing knowledge while handling confidential information in a collaborative, nationwide firm.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of university education completed by the start of the internship.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.

Essential Functions

• Provide high-quality service to clients as a productive member of assigned audit teams.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of university education completed by the time of starting the internship required.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
