Job summary

CapinCrouse, now part of CRI, invites applications for Audit Intern – Summer 2027. CapinCrouse serves more than 1,600 nonprofit organizations nationwide, focusing on financial integrity and security to support professional growth.

You will perform substantive auditing procedures, document tests, and help ensure proper application of accounting principles. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s in accounting and have strong written and oral communication, plus teamwork and independence.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of university education completed by the time of starting the internship required.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.

The anticipated hiring base hourly range for this role is: $25 - $30 an hour.

Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to education, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
